-기존에 [[일본]]인들이 가지고 있었던 로봇 만화의 관념을 완전히 깨부쉈다고 보면 되겠다. 지금껏 그 누구도 예상하지 못한 유형의 로봇. 그러타 피를 흘리는 로봇이어떤 거시당! 심지어 주인공은 멋지고 듬직하게 국가를 지켜내는 영웅상이 아니라 찌질이 병신이라는 점이 더욱 참신하다.
-실제로 에반게리온에는 3세대 오덕들이 갖추지 못한 전문적 지식들이 가득하다고 전해진다. 스토리를 해석하고 싶으면 여러 과학의 분야를 섭렵해서 다시 정주행하라는 것이다. 하지만 그런거 할 시간에 [[옵치]] 티어를 올려놓는게 더 이득이니 쓸데없는 짓은 하지 말도록 하자.
-이카리 신지는 발암물질 1등급이다 개같은 새기. 열혈물 전용 성격의 주인공이 튀어나오는 것도 식상해서 노잼이긴 하지만 얘는 꿀잼인 대신에 졷나게 두들겨 패주고 싶다. 일각의 해석에 따르면 이카리 신지의 성격은 오타쿠들의 [[히키코모리]] 성향을 대변한다고 한다.
-오덕들은 2016년에 와서도 여전히 이 애니를 추종하며 오프닝 곡인 잔은코쿠나 텐시노 테제~ ☆를 mp3에 넣어두고 다니고 일뽕이 머리와 사타구니에 꽂혀드는 순간 지체없이 이 노래를 재생한다. 다 좋은데 스피커로 틀어두지 말고 이어폰 꽂고 들어라 이 개간년
