url: 출처의 URL. 제목에 위키 링크가 있는 경우 사용할 수 없음. URL에서는 불필요한 변수들을 지우는 것이 좋음(예: #ixzz2rBr3aO94, ?utm_source=google&utm_medium=...&utm_term=...&utm_campaign=...).
- 확인날짜: 해당 URL에 필요한 내용이 있음을 확인한 날짜. 위키 링크를 하지 말 것. url을 필요로 함. 단, 변하지 않는 문서에는 필요로 하지 않음. 예를 들어 디지털 객체 식별자나 출판된 책에는 필요로 하지 않지만, 내용이 시시각각 변하는 뉴스 사이트나 상업 사이트 등에는 필요함. 또한, 확인날짜는 단순히 해당 URL이 작동된 것을 확인한 날짜가 아니라, ‘인용된 사실이 있음을 확인한 날짜’임을 나타냄.
- 보존url: URL의 웹 보존 문서. 보존날짜와 url을 필요로 함. 자세한 사항은 백:웹보존 참고.
  - 보존날짜: 문서가 보존된 날짜. 위키 링크를 하지 말 것.
  - url-status: URL이 현재도 접속할 수 있지만, 미리 웹 보존을 한 경우 |url-status=dead 또는 |url-status=live와 같이 설정함. 원본 URL이 스팸 광고나 기타 여러 이유로 인해 위키백과 내에서 사용할 수 없게 된 경우 |url-status=unfit과 같이 설정함.
